Every Under 18 player who becomes a member of Repton HC must have a parent or guardian’s details linked to their player account on the club database. No Under 18 membership application will be approved without an associated parent/guardian application. The parent/guardian email address must be registered (as well as the player email address if they have one) to ensure access to all club information.

(The parent/guardian is responsible for ensuring all player details, including medical and contact details, are correct and up to date on the player account.)

Both the U18 player and the parent/guardian can access the club Pitchero app and view the relevant squad training and match schedule. Through the club app players can mark their availability for matches and training and accept selection as well as view their player profile and receive club messages.

The club website is the first source of all the latest information for our members and this is updated with weekly news stories as well as EH guidance. When a website news story is published the club app will send a notification to all members (and their parents/guardians) and our twitter feed will be updated with a link to the story.

Any communication sent directly to an U18 player will also be copied to the relevant parent/guardian and this communication will be in the form of a direct email or a message through the club app. Adult squads do sometimes use WhatsApp messaging for communication and if an U18 is included in a squad WhatsApp group this is with the permission of the parent/guardian and the WhatsApp group will include a nominated Committee member who will monitor all content.
