Although weekly summer sessions continue, the 24/25 season draws to a close with our club AGM on Monday 16th June. Ahead of this, it is encouraging to reflect on the success of Repton HC from its formation 9 years ago to a club which is now firmly established in the England Hockey leagues, with both the Men and Women in Division 1, the second highest National league.

Our junior age group teams continue to excel with both the U18 and U16 Boys and Girls reaching the Tier 1 National Finals for indoor and outdoor competitions; Repton being the only club in the country to achieve this. The U18 Girls were crowned National Champions, earning a place in Europe for 25/26 and the U18 Boys National Runners Up. The U16 Boys were Super 6s National Champions and finished 4th in the country outdoors with the U16 Girls taking 5th place. The U14s showed huge promise with the boys reaching the Supra-League National Final against Wimbledon and clinching the silver medal in an incredibly competitive match. Both the U12s and U10s qualified for the Midlands Finals with the U12 Boys crowned Midlands Champions to earn a place at the National Finals.

It was fantastic to celebrate with coaches, players and supporters at our end of season event held on the Repton pitches last Sunday. Congratulations to all those players, who won well deserved awards:

Our leavers were all presented with Repton HC water bottles and they depart with our very best wishes for the future. We hope they keep in touch with the club and come back to play at Repton HC one day.

AGM
Our Annual General Meeting will be held via Zoom and all members are invited to attend. Please mark your planned attendance on the Club Calendar and request zoom link from Club Secretary. Please note, only Over 18 members (who have paid an annual membership) are eligible to vote.
John Tarrant (Co-Chair), Suzanne Buffin (Treasurer) and Charlotte Tarrant (Secretary) will not be standing for re-election next season . All other officers are seeking re-election.
